Here comes another wedding that was a long time in the making! I first met with Teresa and Keith in February 2020 for what was supposed to be their July 18, 2020 wedding. Like so many others, they decided to postpone due to Covid, and I was happy to hear from them again when they got back on track with planning for their rescheduled date of July 17, 2021. They were able to keep their same venue, Cheers and Lakeside Chalet, in Lancaster, Ohio! It suited them so well and the outdoor areas outside of the main reception space were amazing for their newlywed images (say yes to your photographer when they try to drag you away for dusk/sunset images; you won’t regret it). We even found an emu; that was a first for us!
Their cake was gorgeous (I love a good cake smash), and they had an amazing table full of activities for all the kids in attendance. We definitely recommend this if there will be a lot of children at your wedding – provide plenty of toys and games! Teresa is a nanny and it’s clear she loves children. She and Keith graciously tolerated my wild toddler when they visited my home office for their image delivery (thank you)! I also heard later that one child at Teresa and Keith’s wedding said it was the best day of his life and he wanted to wake up and do it all over again. How sweet is that?
Congratulations again to Mr. and Mrs. Nichols. Your day was worth the wait!
