Rachel and Jon are friends and we were so thrilled to be able to capture their wedding! Rachel is from Texas and Jon grew up in Minnesota, so they could have chosen to get married in a lot of different places but I’m so grateful they chose Franklin Park Conservatory here in Columbus! They also got ready at the Westin and we couldn’t ask for more gorgeous locations to photograph in.
Some special things to note are their love for their dog Miso at their cake table, Rachel’s surprise dance for Jon with two of her bridesmaids (Rachel is an amazing dancer!) and the beautiful water table ceremony they incorporated as a nod to Jon’s Thai heritage. Each of their parents and grandparents came to the table to pour water over their hands, and then had an opportunity to give say something to the couple as they prepared to officially marry.
This was such a beautiful wedding and celebration and we are so grateful that we could be a part of it. All our best to the newlyweds Rachel and Jon!
