Brittni and Ryan’s wedding day was a long time coming! They are friends of the family, and it was so fun to both capture their day and to be welcomed as a guest as well. The Mercantile in Mount Sterling, Ohio was the perfect venue for them; their color scheme complemented the location so well and the indoor reception space flowed right into the outdoor terrace, which made it feel so open and welcoming. We took as many opportunities as we could for newlywed images (as I like to do), and I know they will cherish all the gorgeous images of the two of them just married. Their ceremony space turned into the perfect spot for their guests to play games on the lawn, their shoe game and anniversary dance were so fun to photograph, and last but not least, I loved how they honored family members who couldn’t be with them. Both Brittni and Ryan carried small emblems with pictures of loved ones (Brittni’s on her bouquet, Ryan’s on his boutonnière), and a memory table with framed photos in remembrance.
It was a beautiful day and gorgeous celebration and we are so happy to have been a part of it all.
